Born in Cortina d’Ampezzo from an Austrian father and an Italian mother, Giovanna has lived her whole life between Venice, Tuscany, and Cortina d’Ampezzo.

After her University studies, at the end of the 80s, she became a journalist and started working as the lead press officer for an important auction house. There, she started taking care of international relations with clients. This experience made her learn the importance of hospitality and how to take care of the needs and wishes of people from all over the world.

In 2005, she founded The Venice Wedding Planner, a wedding planning company that has been planning elegant weddings and events in the city for fifteen years. The Venice Wedding Planner experience was intense and flourishing: she met people from all over the world, planning splendid weddings, making TVWP a highly renowned wedding-related reality in Venice. In 2020, the desire to create something different and expand her outreach led her to launch the new reality of Anthea Wedding.
